All Items Are Sold As Is/Where Is- Please read our Terms and Conditions prior to registering.

How do you register for a Kaw Valley Virtual Auction?

To view and register for one of our upcoming auctions go to bid.kawvalleyvirtual.com and click to register.  You will need to review and accept our “Terms Of Service” as well as register with your payment information.   You will need to provide a major credit card that will be securely tied to your account.  The card you provide at registration will be authorized and verified for a disclosed dollar amount to ensure the card is valid for bidding.

How do you bid?

Once registered you will be able to bid on items while the auction is live.  Each auction is online only and all bids are made exclusively through our bidding platform.  Each item available has an individual bid link and you may enter a dollar amount that represents your maximum bid for an item.  You will be able to see the current bid as well as whether or not you are the high bidder.  If you are not the high bidder you may enter a higher dollar amount for an item.  The dollar amount you enter for each item will be the maximum you are willing to bid.  The current bid will not automatically increase to your maximum bid, it will only increase to be higher than any other bidder’s maximum bid.  If you have any questions or have made an error in your bidding you must contact us immediately and it must be at least 2 hours prior to the initial closing of the auction.

How do you win?

Each auction has a designated beginning and end date and time.  To win an item you must be registered and be the high bidder when the item officially closes.  The auction has a rolling close and not every item closes at the same time.  The first item will begin to close at the designated auction close time, and then every minute the next item will begin to close.  Any bids made within the last minutes of an item closing will cause that item to have an additional two minutes added to it’s countdown before it officially sells.  So if you are bidding on an item and someone outbids you when there’s less then two minutes left, you will have an additional two minutes added in order to increase your bid.  Some items may extend their closing time by minutes or hours if people continue to outbid the current high bidder close to the end of an item closing.

How do you pay?

When you register for an auction you will be required to verify your payment information.  Your card will automatically be charged the day after the auction closes.  Any items that you have won will be added to an invoice that will be emailed to you immediately after the auction fully closes.  Please ensure that the card information you provide is valid and has the appropriate balance available to be charged for your full balance.

How do you get the things you won?

Each item will have a pickup address listed.  This will be the address for item pickup as well as the auction public viewing.  Please refer to the schedule provided in each auction description to verify the pickup location and time.  Items will only be available for pickup during the times listed in the auction description.  If any alternative pickup is required, it must be approved the day prior to the auction closing date.  If prior arrangements have not been made an approved at least 24 hours before the auction closes, no exceptions will be made.  Any items paid for and not picked up will be stored for a fee of $10/per day per item up to 5 days.  After that, items will be considered the property of Kaw Valley Virtual LC, even if they were paid for.

Please bring the necessary manpower and vehicle you need to pickup your item.  We will not have staff available to load your items.  It is your responsibility to remove and load your items from the pickup location.

How do you see the items in person before you bid?

If an Auction Preview Day is available it will be listed in each auction listing.  During the designated date and time you may visit the auction location and inspect the items for sale.  We do our best to provide accurate descriptions and photos of each item, but we encourage all bidders to personally inspect items during the Auction Preview Day.  All items are sold As-Is/ Where-is, so it is the buyers responsibility to inspect any items being bid on.

Some Additional Important Things to Know:

When applicable, auctions will have sales tax added and charged for all items based on the local rate.
